Jari Aceh tries to bring research on mercury in the Hueng village in Tanah Luas sub district. Mercury has occurred in 2010, and the issue is becoming a growing problem of environmental pollution around this company Exxon Mobil in North Aceh. Mercury is a substance that is harmful to society, but the company Exxon Mobil has been negligent in the discharge of mercury which can damage the environment and human health. It has created new problems in people's lives, the suffering of the right to a clean and healthy environment gain been violated. In term three years Hueng village found mercury in the village, until 2012 there is no clear policy on prevention effect of mercury on the people of 4 villages in the Tanah Luas sub-district.

Currently in 2015 would come to an end of the endless production of oil and gas that Exxon Mobil in North Aceh, the environmental problems does not get a good response by the company to protect the environment around these area The discovery of mercury in Hueng village have extended the data that Exxon Mobil did not manage the waste properly. The issue of mercury problem will be takes time to give awareness because the economic more get special attention for community to cover cost of family in Aceh. The local government has responsibility to provide protection to the public against the dangers of mercury reduction. The government should minimize the risk of was contaminated mercury around residents and the environment that was impacted of which can lead to neurological disorders, brain damage, kidney, lung and health problems for humans who consume the foods that has been contaminated by mercury through of the water.
